Twenty-six years in the Quality Assurance field; certified by the Society of Quality Assurance as a Registered Quality Assurance Professional in Good Laboratory Practices (RQAP-GLP) since 1997 (the first year certification was available.) Have hosted more than 50 agency audits of facilities and in excess of 1000 sponsor audits during that period. A seasoned veteran of the Society of Quality Assurance, having acted as Speaker, Presenter and three years on the Education Committee (one as Chairman), and five years on the Program Planning Committee.
Active participation in Quality Assurance professional societies and related areas in governance positions (Secretary and Past President of the Mid-West AOAC, and Past President of the Midwest Society of Quality Assurance.)
Additional activities include 27 years of active participation with AOAC International working toward international consensus in the validated methods area. I have served on multiple Committees and Chair positions with eight years on the Board of Directors, including Secretary/Treasurer, President-Elect, President and Past-President. Elected a Fellow of the AOAC in 1997 (the highest honor available within AOAC.)
