Dr. Jankowski has continued to create commercial value and to stimulate regional enterprise development through successive managerial progression at leading Ohio research institutions.  In the past five years, Dr. Jankowski has been directly involved with the commercial license of more than 20 biomedical technologies and the creation and/or continued support of 6 Ohio life science for-profit ventures.   To maintain a pipeline of high-potential commercial opportunities, he has been the active manager and/or has authorized the procurement of several dozen life science patent applications or filings.  It is expected that Dr. Jankowski’s extensive knowledge of strategic (ca., industrial), venture and federal funding mechanisms will prove invaluable to the transfer of this Program’s nanomedicine technologies to Ohio ’s private sector.
